Could video games replace the CV?

It appears as if video games are not just the preserve of geeky teenagers.
Game-like talent assessments are becoming increasingly popular hiring tools by employers.

The interactive video game tools, being pioneered by organisations like CEB, are used to simulate on-the-job responsibilities, and aim to allow organisations to save time and reduce recruitment costs.

A press statement from CEB said that the firm has worked with customer service teams to create simulations of scenarios that test how candidates deal with difficult customers.

While useful from a business perspective, something tells us that the games might not hold the same level as excitement as hits like Minecraft and Grand Theft Auto. - See more at:
